Appalachian Regional Healthcare developed a need for a Long Term Acute Care service for their Geriatric to assist in expedited therapy and recovery after procedures. Denham Blythe was contracted for this design-build project that was to be located on the second floor of the current patient services building. The work was to be located adjacent to a future rehabilitation center which will be accomplished in a future phase and consisted of a total renovation to that area on the second floor.

• Centralized Nurse Station with accompanying Nurse Call system

• Clean and Dirty Linen Utility areas

• Medical records area

• Improvements to the HVAC, Electrical and Data systems

• Administrative offices and management areas.
