Press Building Expansion & Renovations

As need for Electrolux products has grown, the facility continues to look for means of creating the most efficient assembly model. Since Denham-Blythe has worked on nine projects with Electrolux (2013-2018) our feasibility study for an expansion to house three new presses for this project included our intimate knowledge of the existing facility and its needs.

• Four new loading docks and concrete entrance ramp
• Phased construction installation to keep an existing important shipping area operational while a new one was being constructed nearby
• New construction directly adjacent to existing building required creative foundation systems
• Low bay building 40' tall and high bay areas at 50' tall
• Three 57'-span crane bays with 40-ton overhead cranes, each
• 14' deep press pits and cullet tunnel along with removable tunnel designed to safely carry forklift loading
