Florida Tile had invested in technology to create new products and needed to enlarge their storage capacity to match the growing demands. Denham-Blythe provided design-build services to create increased storage capacity on an expedited schedule

• Severe site conditions required 17’ of fill be placed for new building pad to match existing facility floor levels 

• 18,000 sf of high-pile combustible storage area required upgraded fire protection and architectural detailing 

• Constructed 19 truck docks 

• Supported by 4,400 forklift charging station and 2,900 maintenance area 

• Placed 154,000 sf of roller-compacted concrete for exterior loading zones and storage 

• Built new bypassing entrance road and weigh station 

• Brought in new electrical service to handle increased needs
