The Blue Grass Airport developed a need to construct their largest corporate jet hangar to house $80M+ aircraft. Denham-Blythe worked with Blue Grass Airport to design and construct a new 43,500 SF Group I hangar connected to the main airport air side concrete pavement. The facility includes:

• Second floor offices to house US Customs

• Additional 14,000 SF of tenant office and reception space

• 323’-0” wide by 30’ tall clear opening bi-parting hangar doors

• Full foam fire suppression system supplied by two 2,500 gpm pumps drawing from a 228,500-gallon water storage tank located below the facility and capped by precast concrete planks
