(AGC of Kentucky - December 20, 2024) Denham-Blythe Company's impressive work on the Universal Piping Industries Kentucky Office and Manufacturing Facility was awarded a 2024 Build Kentucky Award in the Design-Build category.
This 108,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Greenfield production facility in Georgetown, KY, marks a major investment in the state’s manufacturing future. Designed with Kentucky’s skilled workforce in mind, the project features overhead cranes, automatic ventilation, and carefully crafted workspaces, all while prioritizing aesthetics and efficiency.
Denham-Blythe overcame significant challenges, including expansive soils and the precise installation of six overhead cranes, which required temporary roof removal and seamless coordination across teams. Local contractors played a key role, emphasizing community collaboration and quality craftsmanship.
