Women in Construction Week - March 2 - March 8, 2025
This week, Denham-Blythe honors women employees for their success in the construction industry as invaluable team members of the company. It is through their hardwork, both in the field and in the office, that our women play important roles in the continued success of Denham-Blythe.
Our women work in various positions including as field engineers, architects, designers, project coordinators, accounting, marketing, admin and so much more.
2024 saw the highest percentage of women-held jobs within the construction industry, making up just over 14% of the workforce. This growth displays the rise in equal opportunity for women in what is considered to be a heavily male dominated field. Studies show that women in managment/executive positions outperform that of the average business, having a high rate of return on equity. It has also shown that workplaces with a more and balanced staff have low turnover rates and a satisfactory work environment. Women often bring a strong sense of creativity, innovation, and inspiration.
